The Sussex Beekeepers’ Association caters for those who live in East Sussex and who keep bees or who would like to start beekeeping.
There are five local Divisions each of which has their own website:

We ourselves are in turn a division of the BBKA British Beekeepers Association (bbka.org.uk)
Each of our Divisions has regular meetings, including social events, invited talks, training session both classroom based and apiary based to train new beekeepers and help support existing members in their beekeeping endeavors and their ongoing learning.
The world of bees and beekeeping is truly fascinating and there is a great deal to learn.
Go to the Divisions’ websites for more information.
Beekeeping is essentially a practical craft so it is easier to learn by doing it. You need the wisdom, experience and company of experienced friends, and the Divisions provide this and this you will find in abundance in our divisions. You never stop learning about beekeeping.
